Before to KPHO/GMA, King was a weekend sports anchor and reporter at KMPH FOX26 from June 2013 until September 2019. During his stint at KMPH, he coordinated high school football coverage, managed writing and editing chores for general assignments, and wrote long-form pieces.
Before joining KMPH, King worked as a weekend sports anchor and reporter for KODE-TV from July 2011 to June 2013. He also worked as a videojournalist, reporter, and anchor for WSET-TV between July 2010 and June 2011. Previously, he worked as the sports director at Carolina Week from August 2009 to May 2010, and began his journalism career as a reporter at ESPNU Campus Connection from March 2009 to May 2010.
